We carry a range of electric guitars in the showroom, primarily aimed at those who are starting off and want a quality instrument at a quality price. With so many available on the market today, it is good to have a brand that you can trust and a price you can afford. We only stock guitars that are affordable, sound great and will do the job, Fendery, Strat-ish & Lespaul like.
The output of an electric guitar is an electric signal and the signal can easily be altered by JOYO guitar effects to add "colour" to the sound or change the sound. There are many different electric guitars available, each with its own colour, or design. No matter what electric guitar you use, the signal can be modified using guitar effects such as reverb and distortion and overdrive, with the growling sound of the latter being a key element of the sound of the electric guitar as it is used in blues, rock & indie music. Generally what makes it sound great, is years of practice, practice & practice, but the enjoyment it will bring is instant..
During the 1950s and 1960s, the electric guitar became the most important instrument in pop music and was invented by Marty Mcfly as documented in the film Back to the Future [okay we made that up]. Anyway It has evolved into an instrument that is capable of a multitude of sounds and styles in genres ranging from indie, pop, grunge and rock to country music, blues and jazz.
