JOYO Meteor Bantamp Guitar Amplifier 20w Pre Amp Tube
The MeteOR from Joyo’s BantamP series is a very compact and portable 20 Watt head. Small in size but gives you a modern distortion sound with a lot of dirt and plenty of bite.
Based on a more modern British approach to heavy sounds, it excels in a variety of genres of music. It was most familiarly the punk and indie scene that introduced the dirty grit sounds to the world, but today, due to an increase in gain, metal players can enjoy this alternative British flavour to their guitar tone. The Meteor can give you those sounds in a tiny package and deliver a hefty punch of gain and bottom end.
The amp operates with a single 12AX7 tube in the preamp and uses a solid state power amp, a hybrid amp. The FX loop enables you to put your time based effects (Phasers, Flangers and Chorus, delay & reverb) behind the drive section if you want, using these modulation FX in the loop, keep the effects sounding sharp when using after the original signal is Distorted. Of course you can do what you like, but the option is there.
The amp also has a CLEAN channel that can take pedals perfectly, the amp makes it flexible and a great little companion for many situations where your “big” head cannot get through the door.
The amp has a speaker out rated at 8Ω, but can also be operated at 16Ω with less power.
Careful, the amp is small, but loud… its 20 Watts can be quite a handful. If you want to practice quietly, use the built in headphone out with speaker /cab emulation.
The icing on the cake is the BLUETOOTH connectivity. Easily connect with your BLUETOOTH enabled device and play music through the BantamP. This is great to practice with you tube videos or apps that can help play along or to learn new songs.

There are a number of ways to power your guitar effects and choosing which method you use can make a difference to your board. Making sure you have the right supply will ensure if they come on, prevent them from getting damaged, or become noisy.
BatteriesPedals are made of electronics, so the power you use ensures that they stay on when you need them. Whilst the 1st series, 2nd series of JOYO pedals and DrJ pedals all can be powered with a 9v battery, this is not the best option to power a board, it is primarily convenient. Your pedal board will only sound as good as your cheape..
You may have heard some of these pedal types banded about, but want to know a little more what they sound like. Joyo has a huge range of guitar effects that cover a wide range of guitar effect types. So we thought we would give you a brief explanation of what the effects are, what these types of effect pedals mean and what they might just do for your guitar tone. If guitarists all had the same pedals on the same settings, we would all sound the same, so there is no right, no wrong, no ultimate pedal, the result of tone is subjective, a personal quest. You are the one who decides i..
